Deep Peace for You - A Gaelic Blessing

Therefore, declare the things which ye have heard, and verily believe, and know to be true.  Doctrine and Covenants 80:4

Deep Peace
Of the running wave to you
Deep Peace
Of the flowing air to you
Deep Peace
Of the quiet earth to you
Deep Peace
Of the shining stars to you
Deep Peace
Of the gentle night to you
Moon and Stars
Pour their healing light on you
Deep Peace to you
 -A Gaelic Blessing

I would add to the blessing wished to everyone this holiday season:  Deep Peace of knowing Jesus Christ came into the world for us.  He is the greatest gift.

If you get a chance to see the Christmas Devotional, find it here lds.org.  I promise you, it is worth it to set the tone for the Christmas season.

Today in Relief Society meeting, one of the women said, "We don't see our own progression in life because we are always with ourselves and when we spend that much time with ourselves we cannot see the good things as much, so we tend to look only at the shortcomings."

This week, have a friend or family member, who has known you over the years, point out the good things they've noticed about you and how you've grown through the years.

Another person said, "Life is a process, not an event."

My wish for all of us is the ability to relax a bit, forget about producing the perfect everything, and just go with a peaceful flow in our holiday preparations and celebrations so we can focus on the truly important priorities that bring us true and lasting joy.
